Real Love Poem by Elizabeth Fontaine Grieco

Real Love

Rating: 0.5

You gesture over to me
As you gently pull me close to you,
All the while whispering to me,
'I love you my Lizzy'
We hug and hold each other for dear life,
As if each hug was our last,
Real love, that's how I know,
The smaller things in life matter most,
Not money and greed, but rather to
Show one another that you really need
Each other's love and respect.
