Real Love Poem by Patricia Gale

Real Love

Rating: 5.0

Looking into his eyes so blue
Like gazing into the heavens

A beautiful spring day
The robins sing along with my heart

A gentle kiss
And global warming takes control of my soul

We walk hand in hand across the field
A fit so perfect

Gliding on the swing together
My heart takes flight

I run my fingers through his golden hair
He smiles and knows I love him so

Small words he speaks
but it sounds like a symphony of violins

If I had only known this feeling long ago…
I would have wanted grandchildren first
