The anchor of my faith
His Word none can negate.
The Light it gives is sure
It's comfort for me endures.

So I know where I stand
I'm planted on solid land.
His Word guides my way
Gives me wisdom everyday.

My faith is not on feelings
His Word is what I'm believing
There I find the God I know
Truth that sanctifies me so.

Feelings fade, have no power.
God's Word is alive forever.
Without it, men have 'religion',
They rely on mere deception.
