They’re getting ready for festivities
Everyone is so excited
Donned in ancient brilliant costumes
And you too, sir, are invited

Mothers’ getting children ready
Anticipation is so high
Folks are lining up for the parade
Under the deep blue sky

Beads and feathers adorn them
Leather too plays a big part
Just like in the ancient days
We’re ready for things to start

So much meaning in the clothing
That goes way into the past
But traditions are fixed forever
Yes, forever they will last

Everyone is ready now to celebrate
Such excitement is in our hearts
For we cannot wait any longer
The parade is ready to depart!
