Life, like a dream never goes away
Life, like grief hoping to fade away
Its actions, very swift
And never slips away
Know how to face it as a friend or foe…..

Studying all its tracks in awe,
Its routes deceiving so you don’t go the same way

Ready or not, life is powerful
Ready or not, life is wonderful
Ready or not, it takes you unawares…
Ready or not, lifes’ blows are hard
Ready or not it makes you sad as much as it brings joy…

Ready or not,
You can’t run, you can’t hide
Life will find you and take you slowly…
Life, oh life!
Life they say is beautiful,
Welcoming and quick to say goodbye….

Ready or not, life is a challenge
As it stands to face you in a bout
On the alert, to give a technical knockout
Don’t give up!
Be ready to face life
And all its troubles
Whether ready or not…
