Reading A Poem

Rating: 5.0

When we read
A poem on rain
Our skin should
Absorb the rain drops

When we read
A poem on the sea
The surf should
Spray on us

When we read
A poem on winter
We should rush
for a warmer

When we read
A poem on love
We should feel our
Love's presence around

When we read
A poem on tears
We should feel
our eyes moisten

When we read
A poem on walking in a garden
The grass should
Tickle our toes

So should a poem
On cheer lift our spirits
On song, echo in our hearts
On silence, merge us
In silence...

very strong idea! i must say, if one doesn't read a poem on one's pulse, he should not read at all...
