Reach For The Morning Star

If stumbling lost, still plagued with shame
From death one seeks to hide
Consider Jesus, call on His name
For help through Heaven’s Guide

For Heaven’s Lamp, fervently pray
Seek He alone who’s wise
To save you, keep you, night and day
Opening ears and eyes

God Promise; life’s fighter of doubt
With guarantee He’ll give
To guide from sin, to turn about
A better life to live

This mighty Gift is like a dove
Precious, meek and mild
Amazing power, tender love
Blessing Salvation’s child

Perfect, awesome, completely free
Faithful in every way
For whom to Jesus bow their knee
Whilst day is still today

Tomorrow; could be The Rapture
When Jesus’ clouds on high
His obedient bride to capture
While rebels stay to die

Take to your heart love’s warning
Your precious soul prepare
Before tomorrow’s dawning
When choice, is no more there

The time is right, here and now
Reach for the Morning Star
Be planted in life’s living bough
Wherever now you are…..
