Ravenna - Poem by Jay Alexander

Here the loss;
Those visions that were fragments
Then, are sparkling now;
And these same streets
I criss-crossed as a child
Are helplessly filled with ghosts.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Ravenna, a beautiful town in Italy which I first visited, when I was six years old, then revisited several years ago.
