Rambo In The Sunset Poem by Marilyn Lott

Rambo In The Sunset

He couldn’t have been more handsome
His horns spread enormously wide
Standing out in the field all alone
With absolutely no one by his side

Of course he’s rather daunting
One would have to be very careful
Before approaching a bull named Rambo
For it may not be very healthful

The sun was just beginning to set
When I saw the width of his horns
I can’t say that he looked very lonely
Nor that he was particularly forlorn

He held his head up high and stood
Very tall against the darkening sky
The sunset and Rambo were awesome
I’m sure you can understand why

There are many things in this world
That I’m not likely to ever forget
But one that will stand out in my mind
Will be Rambo and the brilliant sunset!
