I had a dark cloud over me the other day..
But my rainy day friend was there by my
side..All the way.

As the rain beat upon our shoulders, we
stood waiting..as help finally came.Drenched
and cold, I looked at my dear one, as she
stood strong as an Oak tree...I smiled, knowing
we would always forever be, friends..

My rainy day friend, Betty my treasure,
a gift..Her love is simple and real..
I keep her tucked in my heart safe
for all the ages..

Rainy Day friend, don't ever leave or go away.
