Rainy Day
Just another rainy day so it seemed
As with grey skies and clouds this day began
But this day began unlike the day that followed.
As I watched, as the day went by
So too did the clouds once again.
And so the sun awoke
And so the day grew warm.
And so, as I watched
I farewelled the rain
In hope it would return tomorrow.
