Raindrops Poem by Marissa Oakley Browne

Raindrops

Rating: 5.0

Slow down
like raindrops
already fallen,
enjoy the mud
on your boots,
the sunlight
when it
reaches you.

A very good start to your poetry writing. I like to slow down and enjoy the sunshine, not be always on the run.

Slow down- for a while. You'd find Silky clouds are sailing Across the sky. Slow down. Only then You'd find To see the see-saw game Between LIGHT and SHADOW On the leaves of paddy grain. Slow down- We'd then Go to see Where swallows play in the rain. The music of life would be listened Once again. Very nicely depicted love and life. Thank you for sharing with us.10+ With best wishes. During rainy season road becomes muddy and us sticks to boots. Raindrops give amazing reflection coming in contact with sunlight. Wonderful imagery is drawn in this poem...10
