'Rainbows' Poem by Kevin Wang

'Rainbows'

These pretty little teardrops
Of pearls and diamonds
Tasted with that sense of excitement
Patches of gray and shades
A whole other world up there
Ocean so pure but full of holes

This of sorrow
Of cries so breaking
Truths behind that veil
Which hides/pushes back remorse and grief
Feeling of sad cold hands of lies and cheats
Stabbing from what but behind my back
But once in lullaby coos me to sleep
Yet heals the once blind right here

Yet that bright little hope
Part with that dam that broke so apart
Cuz you don’t see it
But feel that mercy
Relive many memories
Cuz it shines so for so wonderful
Nd sometimes I wonder if those clouds open
Would I see heaven

Cuz from where I stand
I see her shining silhouette of her brightened smile
I would see that girl there
Or those 2 shining rainbows
Gleaming of the hope of sunshine
So glad to feel remorse
To relive the tenderness in my heart
Raise your head up high
And look across the world
And see that hope below your nose
Cuz life is that cycle
Full of emotions revolving
Release this sadness
And welcome the new smiles
Hold you as of many colors
Cuz this is that rainbow
