Rainbow Magic Island Poem by Sherif AbdelMonem

Rainbow Magic Island

Rating: 4.5

In far distance
Across the ocean waves
Lays an island
As folks stories tell
The island appears from far sight
Dazzling with colorful lights
After the heavy rain
A magic rainbow appears
Like a crown of glittering lights in the sky
A graceful young lady
In beautiful gown
Stands on a hill
Carrying in her hands
A silver magic wand
What happens next?
Is a world of wonder and joy?
After the rainbow arc disappears
The sky fills with a rainbow color
Color after color day after day
The color of red first appears
The trees turn into red
the sky and clouds
the grass in fascinating red color
every thing in red
even the birds that fly
the fish that swims
as the night comes
the silver stars turn red
the moon smiles and turn red
here comes the next day
the heavy rain pour again
the halo of rainbow color
so beautiful stark and bright
the young lady comes with the shiny silver wand
wearing long orange gown
the same panorama the day before in new color
A dazzling orange color
now day after day
it follows
the yellow
the green
the blue
the indigo
and the violet
the magic of the rainbow
over the forest rainbow island
has been ever told, over and over again
a generation after generation
in reality and dreams
where is the magic rainbow forest now?
no one can exactly tell
only in the folklore books
and in the mystery books you may find
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet
all the story can tell
