Rain Showers Poem by Britney Hogue

Rain Showers

Rating: 5.0

It’s funny how
Two hearts in love
Aren’t bothered by much
Not only a little rain
Will ever detour them

Continuously walking
As the little drops fall
Soaked but that don’t stop
Running in puddles, splashing
Not giving a care in the world

After a too short while
The rain stalls and ends
As if they just swam
They walk to an open area
And begin to slowly dance

As they hold the clouds fade
A warm sun ray
Shines down on them
Drying out the wet earth
And warming their hearts

It’s just so funny how
Two hearts in so much love
Aren’t even bothered by the rain
Not much could detour them
So concentrated on one another

this was extremely beautiful, the rain drives my heart crazy, an its sad how my boyfriend who drives my heart crazy as well can talk about how amaing it would be to kiss in the rain an it turns me on I love the rain so much its pathetic: ] Very well Written Hope to read more of your poems filled with first hand experiences and pain

Isn't love just so wonderful when it comes to you this way, that nothing else seems to matter as long as you're together.....very well expressed Britney....wonderful to read.....love's a magical feeling...that nothing else comes close to....10++
