Rain In Summer
One summer evening, the leaves dark and green
My heartfelt the music, that came from the trees
My eyes started searching, all through the green
Mild cool breeze blowing, swaying all the trees.
Neared as I more, the sound much clear
Excited was I, I thought my search over
I looked here and there, the sky was clear
Nothing in the air, not behind the trees, nor there over.
I sat on a rock, deep in thought
Still pounding upon the beat was my little heart,
The melody lingered still, deep in thought
Searching were my senses, longing was my heart.
Fluttering was my scarf, in the cool winds,
A drop from the sky, made me look high
The music grew thin, in the cool winds
My heart longing still and had hopes high.
The soil and the clime, and the cool evening breeze
The green and the orange, the grass and the sky
The sudden sweet smelling soil, brought by the breeze
Awakened were my senses, though dark got the sky.
Welcome is the change, welcome is the rain
Longing was the earth, longing was my heart
The music that was felt, were the droplets of rain
Still pounding upon the beat was my little heart.
To love nature and, to thank the Creator. Nice piece of work.

The soft sound of falling droplets is a welcome symphony in the peak of summer! The scent of newly wet soil is equally inviting! You have painted the evening in colours of green and crimson! The gentle breeze that accompanied the drizzle is enchanting!
Beautiful.. Rain.. The most beautiful music.. The most beautiful moment.. A blessing that almost all of us cherish n enjoy.. Thanks for sharing RAIN IN SUMMER so beautifully..
