Rain Poem by Lila Holmes

Rain

The raindrops tap on my window,
pitter patter pitter patter.

Taking part in natures rhythmic show,
pitter patter pitter patter.

The thunder and lightning dance,
pitter patter pitter patter.

Putting me in a hypnotic trance,
pitter patter pitter patter.

The puddles splash on the sidewalk,
pitter patter pitter patter.

Every boom of thunder being a shock,
pitter patter pitter patter.

The rain is falling harder now,
pitter patter pitter patter.

And the rain continues to go,
pitter patter pitter patter.
