Rage seethes through your body
In your arms and in your legs
Your mind just can't control it
Now matter how hard it begs

You feel it in your very bones
Heart racing, breathing hard
Blood pressure's up, gotta stop
Before you dare play this card

Unreasoning and blind,
It'll tear you apart
You will kill someone
If they ever dare to start

It threatens to boil over
Erupt in a fiery ball
In a nasty explosion
That sure won't be small

It overshadows everything
That's in your life right now
You've got to get control back
Now matter what, no matter how

Control is an elusive thing
That always escapes you somehow
Try as you might to capture it
It's never there right now

It's out there on the horizon
It's just over there somewhere
And you just have to grasp it
How you can't afford to care
