Radical Change
four million years ago
or more or less
by replication amino acids built protien
hydrogen replaced methane
life took place many times,
somewhere someplace
language ignited the skies
formulating concepts and ideas
more stable than we imagined,
industrial, atomic, electronic
caging the mind's eye, with
cemetaries, war and death
polluting outer space
