Radiance Poem by Virginia Cairns

Radiance

Rapturous beauty
Found in a place unexpected

So radiant
They glow like the stars

Such passion in their heart
Eyes shine like sapphires

I dare not dream of them
So out of reach they are

Never want that light to dim
Only become brighter

If I may not be their strength
Let someone hold them when they are weak

If I may not be their smile
Let someone dry those tears

If I may not be their protection
Let someone else be their guardian angel

Let them be happy
And find that special person

If not in me,
Then in someone worthy of her glow <3
