Quite Bitter Things Poem by Terrence Griffin II

Quite Bitter Things

Love me,
Then hate me.
I trust you,
To betray me.
You always see just how I feel,
Because I feel them all on the daily.

I'm close to you,
Though I won't cling.
I knew I would never buy you a ring.
I'll tell you all,
But one thing.
I'll never say what I'm planning.

On my side,
Or left alone.
I cannot trust you.
This I have known.
As I can see,
Your filled with glee.
So spare my feelings,
And leave me be.
