Quiet Lullabies Poem by Autumn Winds

Quiet Lullabies

Rating: 5.0

Waves of brilliant blue
Gently lap against the shore

Quiet lullabies play
Softer than a whisper

Telling tales of loves lost

Of battles fought over the ocean
Of bitter-sweet tragedies

And buried memories
All told by simple melodies

The sound of a lost music box
Carries over the ocean

Telling tales of loves found

Of triumph and riches
Of sighing breath

Of last wishes and
That which had been granted

Forever traveling the waves
Like a message in a bottle

Quiet lullabies play
Softer than a whisper
