Quiet Poem by Broken Butterfly

Quiet

Rating: 5.0

He hated her
As much as she loved him
Her quiet symphonies
Sang to herself
As he looked on past
Oblivious
She touched the trees
Yet still was tethered
She accepted his imperfections
And she knew they made him beautiful
But she was lonely
One day they had talked
They both were the same
He was suicidal
She was the same
So they took a walk
And the next day went right back
To the hate
And the love
She was quiet
And he had to prove himself
She was broken
He craved attention
She knew pain
He put her down even more
So she drowned in doubt
And insecurity
Quietly wasting away
As he looked on
Unfazed
That girl
She is I

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Yes, all of this is part of a true story. I guess it's dedicated to the guy being talked about here, even though he does hate me. It felt good to be friends with him, even though it was just one walk.
And I'll remember that walk forever <3
