Questions Of Love Poem by Edward Neil Johnson

Questions Of Love

Questions of love

She tells me too keep my distance
I oblige
But it tears me up inside

Look into her deep blue eyes for answers
Now I'm captured
Feel so good to be alive

Even though we're both so deep in love
We're both so afraid to kiss
Never felt a love like this before
Now it's something I just can't resist

Never have I felt so undecided
Even though we've hardly seen enough
Please tell me it could never be one sided
Even though it's hard say…we're in love

She tells me
Why's it so hard to find somebody
To accept my love

She says to me that it's alright
And now that is why
I love her
No one above her

As I walk away
As I look into her Blue eyes
She says to me maybe someday

Over and over
The words go unspoken
Will we be together
In truth or in token

Only time will tell
And there's a lot of life to live
Finally she tells me
I've a lot of love to give

Do I show persistence?
Or do I run away?
