Questions Poem by C.J. Cross

Questions

A million questions are swirling in my head
But there’s no one to answer them, like
Can zombies eat jellyfish if they don’t have brains? and
Do blind people dream? or is there
Ever a day when mattresses aren’t on sale? and why do they call it a
Funny bone? and can bald men
Get lice?
How come we have two nostrils anyways?
It only really takes one to breathe, and why are
Jolly Ranchers called Jolly Ranchers? and can
Knowing something ever make you dumber?
Like, is knowing too much dangerous for your mind?
Man, I wonder what would happen if everyone on earth jumped at the same time? I guess
No one will ever really know. and how would you handcuff a
One-armed man?
Perhaps you’d just have to watch him close? and someone once said to me
“Question everything” so I said “Why? ” and why does
Round pizza come in a square box? and where do
Squirrels go during hurricanes? and how much does
The internet weigh? and can you cry
Underwater?
Vegetarians can eat animal crackers, right? and
Would a smurf turn purple if they got sunburn? and what is
Xenophobia anyway? where does
Yarn come from? and are
Zebras white with black stripes or black with white stripes?
