Questions Poem by Ivana Valasik

Questions

How
could this end up
in happiness?
This enequal love
This millon-dollar crush
on someone
thought undesirable
by the standards
of my past
Is it I who's changed
or my criteria?
Am I even able to
handle what I'm asking for?

How
could this end up
in happiness?
This situation
that raises
way too many

Am I able to handle what I'm asking for? Is one of most introspective lines I've ever read. Thank you for that one question. I wish I had the brains to have asked that in the past, could've saved a lot of grief. You are an amazing poet. As for the language issue, I see your command of English is excellent! And even if you make grammatical errors, I see that as the spice if language not the problem of it. Love your words. Rick
