Questioning Life Poem by Brandon Brooks

Questioning Life

the knife plunges in
no remorse
digging a hold that cannot be filled
what's worse?

not being heard

death clucthes at the heart
no beat
stopping the flow of life
losing Heat?

yes

this fiery love in me
extingushed
nothing but ice left
what else?

nothing, i am dead
