Question To A Poet
Does poetry float in your mind,
As lotus does in the pond?
Do you sleep with poems or poems throng
When you sleep and go deep,
Into the heart of your poetic soul?
Do your power of imagination, experience
And the flow run from your
Emotive source to get together,
To meet the venue of your creation?
Poet you are, so you take care
Of every emotion and let them
Burst into flower of poetry!

It is a simple sweet poem Neela... Enjoyed the opening two lines more with the analogy of poems floating like lotus in a pond!
A word or a symbol once entered into my mind molded in my soul subdued to my poems
I can speak for myself only I float in a pond of poetry I am the Lotus in its water I am its father, I am its daughter
