Quatrain 13 (Rain) Poem by Paul Sebastian

Quatrain 13 (Rain)

If it didn't rain
Flowers wither to waste
If it daily rains
The sun you'd appreciate

Trade-offs, it's always an issue of trade-offs. If there is too much rain, we complain; not enough rain, we complain; ditto for the sun. It's best to surrender to the climate and season and let nature determine the course of things. Then your poem will express the truth in the most elemental way

Good one, Paul. Certainlyvery relevant here in Kelantan where we are in the midst of the monsoon.
