Quarantine

Rating: 5.0

A health organization has imposed isolation
to this strange man, a suspect
who has been exposed
to an infectious disease.
They have taken everything
done a biopsy and found nothing.
According to his heartbeat
they doubt him as a 'Rebellion'
and taken to custody.

You excell at writing satire. Your poem brings to mind words from the Russian revolutionary, Leon Trotsky, 'Go where you belong from now on-into the dust bins of history'.. Regards, Sandra

This has a wonderful ironic feel to it my friend. I love how you move the pace along and the unjudgemental, almost laid-back, manner that you employ. Sometimes, as here, you narrate issues that we, in the west are shocked at, yet we tolerate the same thing under different guises. You are a real treasure Nimal.
