Qualms Of Life Poem by Marilyn Lott

Qualms Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Some nights I snuggle in, so warm, deep
Then there are others when I cannot sleep.
It seems tiny monsters with ugly heads
Sit in comfort all around my worn out bed.

Little struggles that life sometimes bring
That staggers the senses; sprout ugly wings.
The mind can't take it; it cannot rest
It does not understand what might be best.

But we sort it out, decide what is right
So contentment returns, a solution is in sight.
Soon we calm our thoughts so peace we find
It is part of life and are the qualms of life.
