Quae Vita Sine Mortae Poem by matt daffern

Quae Vita Sine Mortae

they take their feast
in the middle of night
blood-thirst quenched
with sickening delight
they are gruesome immortals
the children of night.
they take their victims
in the embrace of night
from cradled by life
to embraced by bite
once lifes blessing
now turned
by draining bite
once part of
the circle of life
now spreading
the circle of blight
they are now
gruesome immortals
the creatures of night
