Put It In Your Pocket Poem by James Goldsmith

Put It In Your Pocket

Rating: 5.0

I put it in your pocket, for you
For you, I put it in your pocket
But you didn't find my love there
And although I love you
You've got to look someday
Someday, you'll have to look
Then you'll find it.

And though I know you endlessly
And though we've walked a thousand miles away
You're still a thousand miles away from me

I put it in her pocket, she said
She said, without you there beside me
I am better off dead
And though I really love you
You've got to look someday
Someday, you'll have to look
Then you'll find me.
