Pushing Up Daisy Poem by John Paul Butler

Pushing Up Daisy

Rating: 5.0

She's so lazy
could be dead
pushing up Daisy
from her bed
she's so sleepy
cannot wake
pushing up Daisy
gave her a shake

out for the count
she's totally gone
pushing up Daisy
is this a con?
find bottle empty
with note morose
pushing up Daisy
she's comatose

she's got no pulse
could be deceased
pushing up Daisy
Is seeking release
she's flat out
check if she breathes
pushing up Daisy
I'll order the wreaths

This is MY kind of poetry. Absolutely loving this! Was sorry when it ended. ;)
