Push For Compassion Poem by Ima Ryma

Push For Compassion

The Dalai Lama known world wide,
Promoting compassion in life,
Believing science can make stride
In aiding to ease human strife.
But human nature tends to dark
With few and rare tendings to light.
Good achievements, science may mark,
The bad will take and use to fight
For domination and control,
Ever wanting to play God with
The human body, mind and soul.
True compassion is mainly myth.

The Dalai Lama has learned well,
Hard to heaven, easy to hell.
