Strange how people go through cycles
Four years ago I was consumed by my lack of foresight
I could see no purpose
Not sure what I was going to do with my life
I felt let down by what had to offer

Today I sit
Assured that life does have meaning and purpose
What I have learned is
Purpose is not obtained
But is ever evolving

A person grows
As they go through trials
Adapts to change
Focuses on the importance of life
And in hindsight realizes
What he has become

As the person grows, learns, and evolves
Purpose changes
And the cycle begins again
