Purple Serenades...For Prince Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Purple Serenades...For Prince

Purple serenades,
Fill the air.
We weep in deep sorrow,
Heart broken, trying to understand
This loss, this death, this ending,
Life snatched away...so unfair we rage...
Purple twilight, voices raised in prayer that
Prince Roger Nelson rest in peace!
