Purgatory Poem by Aria Siren

Purgatory

You chain me
My heartbeat's knock
Ticking
A clock
In your
Purgatory

Must everything
Remind me
Of your face?
I'm doing fine
You're not on my mind
And then you
Drag me back
To this place

Sinking
And
Rising
And
Floating
At your call

Riding the waves
Of your every
Victory
Crashing under them
With your every
Fall

Attached
To your
Detachment

Latched
To what
I think you meant

Trapped
Without motivation
To set myself free

Strapped
Without salvation
When the savior
Is me
