Pure Faith Poem by Jeri Martindale

Pure Faith

Silk sheets, a soft pillow but I can not pass through this invisible force field that protects them from me.

All I can do is stand here and look in at every one else enjoying these comforts.

I fall down on my knees put my hands together to pray.'this is not the life for you my child' he says.

So I stand up, turn away and walk today,
PURE FAITH!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just to be clear, I would much rather 'suffer' with no comforts than to constantly only seek that in life!
