Pulse Of Yours, Pulse Of Mine Poem by Kathryn Garner

Pulse Of Yours, Pulse Of Mine

your the aliby for all my lies
and ive you for my taste
give me the gravesite
cant let you die
i wont give love to such waste

ill wait till you breath
but you loved till your heart gave out
baby, just give me a rest
get back your breath
we'll love agian
but they changed what we were

meet me down at the gravesite
give me this is the peace of mind
everyone craves and discards
with the fact that love thrives on broken hearts

call something heaven
and condem it to death
time kills beauty
that hearts learn to see
shames always gotta be

be the cure for the infection
thats choking my blood
leaves my heart cold
dead and done
im too weak to say
what i need to convey
what my breath tries to speak
but the still silence is left better this way

give me a kiss
give me a kiss goodbye
a kiss goodbye to love
let my questions die
in the abyss that fills the sweat
between our skin
separating us with passion
baby, its now that ill let you in
deep into the walls of realization
the air sings with waiting
and my blood is fading
tones turning grey with the set of the sun
the day is done
and your pulse is as well

get the beat out of my pulse
yours still rings in mine
give me the shivers, repulsed
by the vision of your corpse in my mind
