so as they say the eyes cannot tell
my heart speaks like those bleeding shattered victims
which i created on the brink of my war
my war with reality and its inmates

they say the road to heaven is ever so hard
everyone went down the passage of hell
as we dance and cry beneath the sky
our fates loom over our convicted souls

so as they say the eyes cannot tell
I heard what they said about you
my fascination knew no bounds
when your very name spelled the word 'perfect'

now as I look back through your created shadows
and try to understand all that i know of you
I separate the flaws from the flaws
I separate the sinner from the sinner
and so I try to escape.....

But why, tell me, o you who is lost
why does your world stand in my way?
A world that I do not belong to.
Why does it force me turn and look at you?
Why does it act like a spring between our fates
why does it pull me away?
