Puddle Jumper Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Puddle Jumper

Rating: 5.0

The allure of a puddle
Is a mystery to me…
Why is it that little boys
Love to dash and splash…

Not willing to stop
When grandma says… No!
Able to convince it is better
To be a puddle jumper

It takes a great deal of skill
To clear the perimeter
It is a challenge to stay dry
When mini oceans arrive
