Public Executioner

Rating: 5.0

Do you agree to
hear my pain, my dear,
Being a public executioner,
I have so much to say.

Feel me, my dear, feel me,
Feel my pain that is always
with me, I know it is not good
to take another's life.

Life is life and life is
not within the purview of
legal or illegal, you cannot
say death is the end of life
and it is final. Feel my pain,
I am executing and it is critical.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Public executioner is giving death as per order of the judge. But the main question is whether the judge or the ruler of a particular land is empowered to deliver death-sentence to anyone what so ever it may be, since he / she has no power to create a creature, man or bird or animal or even an insect in the name of law that is framed by man? we know man is imperfect though. A real question of humanity.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

To kill a man is bad and sin what so ever it may be, it is known to all and yet the public executioner is killing a convict. Convict in the eyes of some. the creature itself is pure and fine though.
