Puberty

I remembered the pangs of love
I remembered the pangs of lust, yes, that's right the pangs of lust
Hurting my heart through my eyes

I was young then and did not know why
What's gonna happen to me
I had a fear that I might get sick and die
For I had no hope if my muddled crave will ever be satiated

It took me a while to divulge my insidious secret
I thought if I did let the beans out my reputation
Only known to me because I care about my standing and looks
Would be dragged through the mud and hanged to dry in view of the mocking birds

To my great surprise I got to know that I'm not alone
The arduous road is part of the journey of life
It goes up dragging along the sweet and bitter strands
Goes down in a like manner widening the view of life
