Psalm 99 Poem by Frank McEleny

Psalm 99

Let the oceans roar
And the mountains fall down
Let the earth be moved
Let the King wear His crown

For the Lord is great
He brings glory to His name
The earth cries out
And the stars they do the same

For the Lord is established
He is great in all His ways
And His people are forgiven
And they praise Him all their days

A cloudy pillar by day
And a fire by night
A voice calls out from them
To rise up and fight

Rise up in forgiveness
And exalt the Lord your King
Rise up in justice
And stand behind His wing

For in the presence of the Lord
You learn to be still
To rise upon His wings
And ascend His holy hill
