Psalm 14 Poem by Parker Perrella

Psalm 14

Oh what a wretch am I
My wickedness I cannot deny,
All have turned away
There is not one who is wise.

The most evil of all men
I am no better than them
For I have defiled the Name of the Most High God,
Surely I have sinned against Him.

But I shall rejoice and be glad,
For though I have sinned and fall short of His radiant glory,
I am justified freely by His grace-*
The blood of the Lamb has made me holy,
His righteousness exchanged for my disgrace!
