Proverbs Poem by Wensislaus Mbirimi

Proverbs

The race is not for the swift
But those who can endure
Speed thrills but kills
A bird that flies too fast,
Flies past its own nest
A man without confidence
Is twice defeated in the race of life
With confidence you have won
Even before the race has begun
