Proposal Of Marriage Poem by Jared Gobey

Proposal Of Marriage

The paper I hand you is not a letter, a book or a deed
But the paper I hand you is one you must promise to read
The paper I hand you holds the key to our love which is true
The paper I hand you means that forever I can hold you
The paper I hand you comes from the highest in Church
The paper I hand you means the one heart I search
Will be yours and the girl I love I shall marry
Let's get hooked and the generations we carry
Shall follow proudly behind the car, me in black and you in white
And when you said yes, I knew everything was going to be alright.
