Proposal For Rupert
Pippa went to Wimbledon
Watched from the Royal Box.
The Mirror and Mail reported
How much her outfit cost.
The top was 404
The bottom a little more.
She bought them in a store
For the royals to know the score.
Murdoch's Sun was more devout
It left the prices out.
His Advertiser in Adelaide
Paid for the Mail report:
'The Sun's just not sufficient:
Leaving out our favourite sport.'
Knowing all of what she's made
I want the make of all.
With every photo in the paper
The price of top and bottom,
How much to paint the wall.
And if you don't think that's our favourite sport (and hers and the Sun's) just read the readers' comments the 'Sun' is quite happy to publish in their online version of Pippa at Wimbledon,28 June 2012. PS The Sun did not mention prices on the online celebrity news page which comes up when you type in Pippa at Wimbledon.
