I can't promise I won't think of you
That you won't creep up in my mind
I can't promise I won't miss you
When I think of our better times

I can't promise I won't cry
A few times when I try to fall asleep
I can't promise that I'll be okay
That it won't hurt, of you, to think

I can't promise I will be strong
Even though it is all that I want
I can't promise I wont be broken
When at night my dreams you haunt

I promise I will try to move on
With family & good friends there
I know I can get through this in time
